How to combine two Outlook data files or folders? – This is the most frequently asked question by users those want to merge two Outlook folders or data files. If you are just moving one folder items to another one then it is quite easy because you just need to drag the items from one folder to the other folder. You can also use the “Move to Folder” command

Step 1: If your PST file which you want to merge with another one is not currently available in current profile then you need to open it first in current profile. For this, Go to “File” in menu bar >> Open >> Outlook data file

Step 2: Select PST file which you want to merge and click on “Open”.

Step 3: If you just want to move emails then select all emails by pressing “Ctrl + A” command and drag all the emails to another folder where you want to store these emails.

Now, the question is that if you need to move appointments, contacts then what will you do. For this, follow given below steps:

For appointments or contacts, switch current view into List view, such as All Appointments or by Category.

If you are using Outlook 2010 then it is called List view and if you are in Contacts folder then use Phone list view.

Now, follow the same procedure as you follow to drag emails. Just press “Ctrl + A” command to select all the items and drag it to the folder where you want to store it or use “Move to folder" command.
